Elyssa Davalos scowls How the West Was Won

Elyssa Davalos How The West Was Won Elyssa Davalos Hillary Gant Elyssa Davalos

Actress: Elyssa Davalos Project: How The West Was Won Known For: McGyver Year: 1977 Genre: Western TV Series Episode: Hillary Character: Hillary Gant Traits: Daughter of tough and tender sheriff played by Lloyd Bridges, Elyssa’s Hillary Gant is just as tough but initially hardly shows her tender side to Bruce Boxleitner as Luke Macahan, on the run from the law and settling into her dad’s town where Luke first hates, then likes, then loves Hillary… and it’s mutual. Nag Rating: 7. Although she’s hiding her lust for the guy she’s a bitch to: Not only is Elyssa a good actor, but Hillary is too. Best Part: When Luke and Hillary literally hit the hay… but nothing happens until the next night when she unveils herself in bed. You Missed: Elyssa was one of the regulars on How The West Was Won, and was no stranger to Westerns having also played the equally tough and sexy ingenue in The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again… the dusty genre suits her although Disney then used her in another sequel, the modern day Herbie Goes Bananas. She’s our all-time favorite starlet, and we once spoke on the phone for an interview that never happened. And her father Richard played against James Dean in East of Eden, and his face adorns The Smiths’ Strangeways, Here We Come album cover and her daughter is more famous than both, but mother/daughter Elyssa Davalos is tops here, dammit.
